well, since me wrote bout the class, juz write bout the bball team this year also bahx.
hmmm.. still remembered the time when i first joined basketball as my cca. from then on... i belonged to Anderson Basketball Club-- nv thought of quitting, nv thought of giving up. and i'll never say die!
den went for the first training... i think my batch onli potter went also...
den i see the seniors all so pro. n i was new to bball. hardly play in pri sch. i felt inferior...
but the seniors were nice, their warm smiles made me feel more secure. i began on my conquest to conquer my fear of balls. =D
this year started, wif another new batch of junior joining us... honestly, i really was afraid dat they would take my place in the team... at first dun realli like them de... but as time pass... i bcame their fren... understood them better... n i began to change my perpective bout them.
mr neo tried his best to bring the team together... he organised many many events...
one dat left a great impression was the dragon boating wif the anderson girl guides. my partner was man ting rite? haha... my present 'wife'. =P den we competed wif the guilds... woohoo! we won! so happie~
valentine's day i still remember me gave juniors time out choco n seniors chocos too. also received chocos from some of them. =)
cross country dat time me cry... n my juniors- jia xin, stephanie, gen, tania? a maybe a few others comsoled me? haha... u guys were so nice. thankz wor.
den term 2 was B girls' match... me missed lessons for quite a few times bcoz of dat. so cool~ they won cedar girls... RGS... anglican high n a few more... the last match... against SCGS... although our team lost... but we noe they hv given their best. still remember b4 the match... wad jasmine said to me... haha...
june holidays... had training thrice a week rite? tough... tiring... summore got frenly matches... we all trained n played hard... pain everywhere... but still, we did not gif up.
term 3... the competition ended as quickly as it came...
our first match was against holy innocents... all of us were so nervous. although we won, we still got scolded by heiba. haix.
second match was against christ church. we won...
den it was the match against mayflower... we so scared bcoz it was the deciding match for us. if we win, we would hv a place in the top 4 positions in the north zone. if we lose, we were out. our efforts paid off as we won mayflower.
two days later, we played anotehr match against nan chaiu high. we won!!!
played aginst yishun town... coach said dat we would surely lose but we proved him wrong. our team spirit led us to the finals- with naval base. although we lost, we were proud of ourselves. =D we knew we had done our very best. =D
we moved on n played wif st margrets... we lost. initially, we blamed coach for looking down on us n substituting our good players wif those who r not as gd. but it was coach's decision after all n maybe we should respect it?
next was the one against unity. din noe they were so strong until we played wif them... hahas... we lost again... but we played well. way to go!
our very last match... against anglican... we played well... =D coach was proud of us...
now trainings not as tough as b4 le... after the exams... dunno y, my stamina like dropped alot... haix...
trainings used to be like 20 rounds, 5 laps of shuttle run, full speed, frog jump, physical trainings, lay ups.... now... 10 rounds, lay ups... dat's all... pathetic... but he push us too much i will die. haha... coz i dun think i can take it.
after training always play cards de... it's thanks to these batch of sec 1s dat i learnt how to play dai dee... hahas. n we used to go out for movies together... den make seow hwee pay for them... hahas. n the adidas sleeveless shirt we bought as a team. hardly wear it now... ummm, we also said encouraging stuffs to one another when training was tough, we moved on together n praised each other. although there were some arguments here n there, but i believe each n every one of us forget about them in a twinkle of an eye. =D
wad else leh... oh ya... the team was quite enthusiastic about making a bball tee... but noe i think dunno design until where le... haha... still got the ballroom dancing thingy. n now there's the CIP at yck gardens sch. all these contributed to the building of our team spirit in one way or another... also, muz thankz mr neo, mdm loh, miss ho, mr leong, not forgetting mr poh who would be retiring soon. muz thank them for putting their efforts into building up our strong team spirit. an even bigger thank you to coach for scolding us so dat we learn from our mistake, n for leading us to where we are now. =D

05 jia xin- great guard to hv in the team. run so fast de lor! coach's fav. 3 pointer always chop. this means dat her 2 pointers also very accurate la. hahas.
06 valerie- me. forward. nothing else. =D
07 ling yan- makes quite a gd centre. improving day by day. jia you.
08 amy- tall!! makes a fairly gd guard.
09 tania- the best centre! always get rebound. den dribbling also damn gd. shooting also quite accurate.
10 stephanie- good forward. shooting not bad.
11 potter- captain of coz li hai rite! always score de. everything also gd. hahas.
12 ying zhi- terrific forward. gd in defencing. shooting also damn gd.
13 genevieve- good centre. defence well... lan di shooting quite gd.
14 julia- one of coach's fav. shooting not bad...
15 seow hwee- damn TALL. shooting damn accurate. especially lan di.

dat should be all le.. hopefully this year's sec 1s will bcome more mature when they become sec 2s? hahas... but their jokes are realli funny... n the things they do. hahas. hopefully 2006 we will still be as close as we are now. i hv had great fun 'steading' wif the 2 of u. also had a great time hanging out wif jia xin, stephanie n gen. =D
