this weekend was SO busy.
kind of tiring.
BUT it was worth it.

fri.
it was PREVIEW!
supposed to report at like 2.30.
was a bit late.
but alot of ppl were late too.
so no one bothered.
felt kind of weird since i didnt really know anyone.
but things changed for the better aft tt!

nice ppl.
anw we were supposed to be stationed at coleman st.
hahaha.
job was kind of slack actually.
the policemen are nice ppl!
they were very nice to us!
so b4 the preview started,
we did a bit of job.
after tt.
we ended up watching the chingay.
hahaha.
coz no more job to do!
BUT didnt see the F1 car!
awww.
we only heard its engine.
n tt was SO sad!
okay, BUT the fireworks was damn nice.
n it was like so close to us!
(actually we were not supposed to be so near)

saturday!
it was the actual chingay day!
supposed to report at 1.45.
so i met yk at hougang mrt.
WHEE!!!
haha.
n he kept complaining about how troublesome girls are!

but he's still very nice =)
although i made him go quite early.
hehe.
had a small andersonians gathering there coz there was nothing to do.
haha.
saw zy too although he didnt join chingay.
coz he sent xL there.
hmmm.
anw, we kind of stoned at the tentage for quite some time.
so i told kelvin to entertain me.
haha.
n he was like teaching me how to play worms.
gosh.
i seriously didnt noe how to play.
n i stil dun really noe how to now.
haha.
but he lent me his phone to try a few games anw.
after tt our job started!!
still at coleman street.
but another part.
at least we had something to do.
n to was to direct ppl to the entrances.
n to refuse entry to coleman street.
some ppl were like very pissed tt they couldnt enter from here.
so some of they like began to shout at us.
n scold us some more!

but we were told not to let anyone spoil our day. =)
so we just smile n let them scold lor.
n kip saying sorry.

there was this uncle who said he was invited to watch chingay so he demanded to go in by tt way.
n he added tt he was paid like 10 000 bucks to watch it.
HAHAHA.
like as if we believe lah.
n there was this other woman who wanted to stand there to watch everything n we were like telling her she cant.
so she kept scolding us n say we were STUPID.
den this very nice police on duty wif us told her to respect us.
den she just continue calling us stupid.

so we were kind of busy b4 chingay.
telling ppl "oh, u walk straight n turn to ur right at the first turn. the entrance is diagonally behind this cathedral but dun cut thru it".
repeated this sentence for like SO many times!
okay.
half way aft chingay started, nothing much left to do.
so gary treated us to ice cream though we werent supposed to eat on duty.
hahaha.

kathy brought hme a really BIG balloon which she found.
n charleen gt her PAO which she wanted.
haha.
we were dismissed rather late too coz there was like debrief n we had to wait for the whole thing to end.
meaning tt the chingay thing has to reach the end pt...
ho.
yk told me to go first coz he scared he'll take quite long den will miss the last train.
but aft tt he msged to ask if i wanted to go yck wif him den his mom can fetch me hme oso. RAHHH.
but i already at dhoby ghaut.
den aft tt he called to say the mrt shuttles closed already so lucky i went off first.
haha.
poor him.
he had to cab home.
arhhhh.
n i still owe him chocos!
so hopefully i see him on the bus some time this week!

today!
i slept in.
coz for the past 2 nights i slept at 1am.
unbelieveable!
it's like way pass my bedtime man!
but slept till not very late lah. 11 liddat?
tt was like whn trg ended? =X
arhhhh.
missed trg today.
kind of guilty coz it was bcoz of chingay.
but i shall attend subsequent ones!

didnt do much today coz i slept in the afternoon again...
i wonder if can fall aslp early tonite coz i think my body shuts down at 12am now...

but anw, CHINGAY was a GREAT experience!
